We are a non-profit organization that believes creative art education is for everyone at any age, level, ability, or financial situation.
It's also our belief that children should be given time & space to try out different creative outlets. Yes, we want to teach your child the technique and life lessons of dance, however, a well rounded individual should have multiple interests and be given the opportunity to explore them.
Blossom & Bloom will NEVER participate in competitions. It’s against our core values. The director, Beverly, believes that there is nothing to gain when art becomes competitive. We will provide opportunities to showcase skills student growth but competition is unnecessary.
We want every student to have one on one time with the teacher, not just the assistant. Keeping class sizes small helps with that goal.
It also creates a better sense of community rather than getting lost in the shuffle of large studios with over-packed class sizes.
We strive to keep our class sizes at or under 10 students.
Yes, our dance class dress code can be found here: DRESS CODE.
As for where to buy dance attire, there’s so many great options! For clothes like leotards, tights, and skirts, we suggest anything from Discount Dance Supply. Target and Amazon are also good options.
For shoes we HIGHLY recommend avoiding Target and Walmart because they often provide dance shoes with soles that harm the dance floor and do not provide the proper grip needed on the dance floor we’ve installed for the safety of our dancer’s bodies.
For classes with a monthly tuition, a membership fee of $25 per student or $40 per family is charged at the time of enrollment. If you are continuously enrolled, no additional membership fee is needed. If you take a break & return, a new fee will be charged. Membership (sometimes referred to as registration) fees are not refundable with the exception of preschool students who are determined to be unready for dance and may receive a credit for the following season
Costume fees, recital fees, optional picture day purchases and other fees will all be announced with ample time to plan and with the option to pay in installments.
We never want someone to stop taking classes because of finances. Please contact us if you need financial assistance to pay for classes or fees. We have a scholarship program and would love to assist you.
If your child is easily distracted, we ask that you not observe from the windows. Doing so can quickly escalate off-task behavior leading to wasted class time. You know your child best. We appreciate your assistance in helping us create an environment where attentive learning can take place.
We offer Parent Participation & Observation days where you will be in class and dancing with your child! These are scheduled at the beginning of the session and will be on our BBCA calendar.
Instructors may opt to allow parents into the studio at the end of a class to show what they’ve learned. This is at the teacher’s discretion.
If you ever have a question or concern please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here for you!
Yes! Opportunities to perform are not required but highly encouraged. This provides a sense of closure to the season as students show what they’ve learned! It is assumed that all dance students will perform unless we are notified otherwise.
“A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.” — Zen Shin. We will never participate in competitions.
We offer a 50% multi-class discount that is automatically applied as you enroll.
Fall enrollment opens mid-June through the end of October.
Spring enrollment begins mid-November through the end of March.
When enrollment closes, waitlists are available to give you a better chance of enrolling in the next session.
Yes! Private lessons start at age 6.
We offer Parent & Tot style classes for as young as 18 months.
Independent classes begin at age 3.
We understand that your child may LOVE to dance at home, however, there are many factors that go into starting independent dance classes. Potty training, separation anxiety, social preparedness, and more play a factor into student readiness. Let them be little 😊
Yes! Whether it's Yoga or a Crochet Workshop, we love to provide opportunities for adults.
Don’t see a day/time/genre that works for you?
Get a group of at least 3 who want to participate and we’ll see about adding it to the schedule!
BBCA will consider adding an additional class to the schedule, if space allows, if you can bring at least 3 others who want to take that class. We are always open to suggestions. Contact us with a class request and if we receive enough requests, we'll add it to the schedule.
Testimonials
Blossom and Bloom does an incredible job delivering excellent instruction in a fun, warm, nurturing, silly, creative environment. The biggest reason for that is Ms. Beverly! She loves kids and fosters an environment that they delight in, all while helping them grow, develop as dancers/artists, and learn stellar technique. She helps foster community among the families and is always reinforcing positive messages that are empowering to kiddos. I have never seen another extracurricular activity or instructor go to the lengths she does to support kids and help them grow. My two girls have taken jazz and ballet, but also love the art classes. Highly recommend!

We have LOVED our experience with Blossom & Bloom! My daughter has learned and improved in ballet technique after just a few short weeks. She loves coming to class and working with Miss Beverly. I am continually impressed by her professionalism and experience. I love the age appropriate tools she uses to teach the art of ballet, all while providing a FUN atmosphere! Thank you, Blossom & Bloom!

We loved taking this class with Miss Beverley! She was so kind and fun with our little ones and is understanding and flexible to the ever changing needs of toddlers. This was the perfect first “group class” experience for my 20 month old. She was eager and excited for each class and I saw her grow more independent and confident through the 8 week course.
